Apostolic Churches in the Middle East
Jesus has said - "Again, truly I tell you that if two of you on earth agree about anything they ask for, it will be done for them by my Father in heaven. For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” - Matthew 18:19,20 (NIV).
We believe that one of the best ways we can reinvest into the Middle East is through ‘Prayer’, as the region has been most generous to its expatriates. Our churches in the Middle East focus on praying for the region, praying for its rulers and praying for peace. TAMI's Apostolic Movement for Entreating Nations 'AMEN' network in the Middle East is the epicenter to ripples of prayer across the globe. The Middle East was the birth place of the TAMI ministry with the 1st church planted in the UAE. The Catholic Charismatic groups from Ras Al Khaimah, Sharjah and Abu Dhabi which, Br. Alias was a part of, evolved and became the first TAMI churches of the Middle East. In 2001, the first TAMI church was 27 people strong. Many languages churches followed, of which, the Sharjah Apostolic Church, was the biggest. The first services were held at St. Martins church and then moved to the present Sharjah Worship Centre, where we have been to date. At present, we have 13 churches all over the UAE, with active ministries in 6 languages. Further expansions in the Middle East were done by Pastor Venudas, who founded the church in Oman whilst simultaneously working in Kerala churches. Following an International School of Discipleship Bible School in Kuwait, Pastor Shibu caught on to the TAMI visions and planted the Kuwait Apostolic Church.
