The Beginning of TAMI
The Apostolic Ministries International (TAMI)
On 27 th April 2001, ‘’The Apostolic Ministries International ‘’(TAMI) was birthed. It all began in the basement hall of Lancy and Aileen D’Souza. We remember vividly the powerful message and the presentation made by Pastor Anison, just a hand full of us – caught the vision, came together to partner with the Holy Spirit in agreement and there Tami was birthed.
Pastor Anison insisted that the Holy Spirit has to be in-charge of the ministry if it needs to grow. Indeed, it is the Holy Spirit who has brought us to this level and who continue to be with us and move us to come to a higher level.
From its humble beginnings, TAMI has grown to be one of the largest and most effective ministries for reaching the lost and to plant churches worldwide. From running Caritas Global programs and training disciples worldwide through Apostolic Bible college to carry the move of God to the unreached places and to build a global prayer network worldwide.
All honor and glory be to our Lord Jesus for the growth and the success of this Global Ministry.
The story of TAMI thus far is not a story of quick growth and clear successes. Rather, it is a story of unique vision and the faithfulness of God to his own leading and purpose.
As we reflect back on the many milestones that have been made, we understand that what distinguishes TAMI from other massive world mission organizations are its core values. Reflecting on them once again on this occasion would serve as reminders of our very purpose and identity.
The Apostolic Ministries International (TAMI), is a rapidly growing Holy Spirit filled mission organization, that is committed to the truth and power of God’s Word and His love. This ministry moves in the Grace of Jesus Christ to continue the exploits recorded in the Book of Acts in the Bible.
TAMI exists to “know Him and make Him Known” and labour towards seeing the great commission fulfilled in this generation. The ministry’s desire and goal is to bear witness to the love of God in Christ, to help Christians grow in a positive and powerful way with the love of Christ.

Our Vision
Our Purpose
To witness Christ in all nations and to reach out to the unreached ethnic groups as part of the end-time revival in an apostolic fashion, preaching the Word in season and out of season, demonstrating God’s love and power in pulling down strongholds and bringing people into salvation.
To Witness Christ
To witness Christ is our all-encompassing purpose. To live as a witness of Christ to effusively share the truth, the good news of God, heard and experienced with those who have not. Our primary purpose is to witness Him everywhere and every time, beginning at home with our family, friends, and neighbors, in our hometowns, and through all cities and nations worldwide. We seek the inpouring of the Holy Spirit to witness Christ and to be living examples that bear fruit and operate in the gifts of the Holy Spirit.
In All Nations
We believe in the promise that we shall plant churches across nations. We believe that He who has promised is faithful and able to fulfill this promise. We fervently believe that all nations need Jesus Christ, the only way to salvation.
Reaching the Unreached
Our motivation strongly rests on reaching out to those who have never heard of Jesus Christ, specifically focusing on unreached ethnic groups. We want to minister and reach out to those individuals and communities who have never had the opportunity to hear or understand the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
The End Time Revival
We believe that we are living in and are called to be a part of the end-time revival, preparing for the coming of God. In this revival, a hunger for the Holy Spirit is unleashed amongst the apostles or leaders on the earth to bring people to God. The Holy Spirit powerfully moves across various churches, making it evident that He is not limited to any particular denomination. We desire to be a part of this great Holy Spirit movement.
In An Apostolic Fashion
The Lord has called some of us to be apostles, some prophets, some evangelists, some pastors and some teachers to equip for the work of ministry to edify the body of Christ. We believe that a biblical paradigm would emerge when apostles are appointed to ministries and churches. Apostles are those who are called or appointed to plant churches. The Holy Spirit shall work to consolidate and connect several churches and ministries. Jesus said, “Be one as we are one.”
Preaching the Word
We are convinced that God’s primary means of transforming the world and reconciling people to Himself is through the anointed preaching of the Living Word. Therefore, it is our God-given assignment for where there is no church; we preach the word to start one, and where there is a church, we preach the word seeking to edify the body of Christ and multiply
In Season and Out of Season
We believe in preaching the Word and planting churches irrespective of the season we are going through, including times of persecution. Therefore, we neither consider it strange nor do we despair, but rejoice in becoming a part of Christ’s suffering so that we may be exceedingly glad when His glory is revealed to all.
Demonstrating God’s Word
According to Jesus’s teaching, through compassion, mercy, and love, we model our belief – the only hope in a broken world. John 13:35 says, “By this, all will know that you are My disciples if you have love for one another”. We acknowledge that the ultimate human need is to find love, and there is no greater love than the One that laid His life down for all men.
In Pulling Down Strongholds
The bible speaks of pulling down strongholds – barriers that keep us from living a whole life as children of God. According to 2 Corinthians 10:3, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds and casting down arguments. Through prayer, the Holy Spirit fights a spiritual battle to break down these strongholds. We believe that prayer can move mountains, whether in secret or corporately.
To Train and Develop and Prepare God’s People for Ministry So That the Body of Christ May Be Built
This Involves teaching the Word of God, helping people to discover their God-given gifts, enabling them to serve others, and helping them become mature in Christ. We train the untrained. We are challenging the church to obey Christ’s command to make disciples of all nations. We seek to provide leadership training and practically help to enable churches to establish mission sending agencies. We desire to be a church-planting mission and a mission-planting church!
Our Mission
To train, develop and prepare God’s people for ministry so that the Body of Christ may be built up.
To plant churches, especially in the unreached areas.
To present the Gospel with love and Holy Ghost power to millions who do not know Christ.
To conduct regular training for the formation of Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers who will be living epistles, living examples of Jesus Christ.
To show mercy and compassion by instituting homes for widows, orphans, the old aged, prostitutes, eunuchs, captives and the broken hearted, and also to build up Spiritual hospitals for the oppressed, sick and those in bondage.
To plant churches, especially in the unreached areas.
To present the Gospel with love and Holy Ghost power to millions who do not know Christ.
