THE APOSTOLIC MINISTRIES INTERNATIONAL

Our Faith

“But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.“

‭‭Hebrews‬ ‭11‬:‭6‬ ‭(NKJV)

Our Faith

Our Faith

The Bible

The Bible

We believe that the Old and New Testaments are verbally inspired of God. The Bible is infallible, eternal, and immutable. We believe that true Christian living is only possible through obedience to the word of God (2 Tim 3:15-17; 2 Pet 1:21).

The One True God

The One True God

We believe in the one true God, eternally existing in three persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, where each of the persons within the Godhead is deity. We believe that each of the persons of God is of the same essence and is not inferior or superior to the others in essence (1 Cor. 8:6; John 1:14; Col. 1:15-16).

We believe that Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God. We believe in:

  • The virgin birth (Matt. 1:23; Luke 1:31)

  • His life without sin (Heb. 7:26; 1 Pet. 2:22)

  • His miracles (Acts 10:38)

  • His death by crucifixion (Luke 23:33-47; 2 Cor. 5:21)

  • His work as the High Priest, who is interceding for us as the mediator of the New Covenant (Heb. 9:15; 4:15)

We believe that the Holy Spirit is the third person of the Godhead, the Trinity. He was active in creation, inspired the Bible writers, and works in regeneration and sanctification. The Holy Spirit is involved in every aspect of the growth of a new believer. He is the source of all gifts to the church, empowering believers to do the work of God effectively on earth. The evidence of a Spirit-filled life is the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22. The Holy Spirit bestows upon the believer spiritual gifts which have not ceased but are still in operation today (Matt. 3:16-17; 28:19; Gen. 1:2; Ps. 104:30; 2 Pet. 1:21; John 3:5-6; Rom. 8:9; 1 Cor. 12:7-11).

Salvation

Salvation

It's a free gift of God and is only made possible by the blood of Jesus Christ, the Son of God. Salvation is received through repentance unto God and faith in the finished work of Jesus on the cross. The inward evidence of salvation is the witness of the Spirit. The outward evidence to all men is the fruit of salvation, which is manifested in righteousness and true holiness.

(Eph. 2:8; Tit. 2:11-12; Acts 4:12; Rom. 10:13; 8:16).

Separation

Separation

Every born-again person should understand that they are the light of the world and salt of the earth. The greatest desire of a true believer is to reveal the character of Jesus Christ to the outside world. The Bible calls us to a life of separation from the sinful pleasures of the world and any form of company that displeases God (Eph 4:22-24; Gal 5:16-25; Tit 2:12).

Church

Church

A church is a called-out body of born-again and baptized believers. Every believer of a local church is an integral part of the universal church, the general assembly of the firstborn that are written in heaven.

The two-fold purpose of the church is evangelizing to the lost and nurturing believers to build a body of saints being perfected in the image of His Son (Eph. 1:22-23; Heb. 12:23; 1 Cor. 12:13; Acts 1:8; Eph. 4:11-12; 1 Cor. 12:28).

The Ordinance of the Church

The Ordinance of the Church

Water baptism and the Lord’s Supper (Holy Communion) are two ordinances of the New Testament Church.

Baptism

Baptism

The ordinance of baptism by immersion is a commandment by the scriptures. We believe that baptism is symbolic of the fact that we are buried with Him in death and have risen with Him to walk in the newness of life. All who repent must be baptized in the name of the Father, the Son & the Holy Spirit (Matt 28:19; Acts 10:47; Rom 6:4).

Holy Communion

Holy Communion

The Lord’s Supper, consisting of the elements – the bread and the wine, is the commemoration of the death of Jesus Christ until He comes. This should be a moment of self-examination and building of unity between believers (1 Cor. 11:23-24; Matt 26:26-27; 1 Cor 10:16-17).

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Baptism in the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit, with the most common evidence of speaking in tongues, and it is for all believers. This experience is unique and subsequent to the experience of regeneration (Acts 1:8; Matt 3:11; Acts 19:2-6).

Divine Healing

Divine Healing

Divine healing is an integral part of the gospel and is provided for in the atonement. Divine healing is the right of every child of God (Isaiah 53:4-5; 1 Pet 2:24; James 5:14-16).

Tithing

Tithing

God instituted it under the law in the Old Testament. It signifies the importance of financial faithfulness on the part of a believer. The New Testament encourages believers to give liberally and cheerfully. Christians honor God when they willingly and regularly give their tithes to Him (Matt 3:10; 1 Cor 16:1-2).

The Spirit World

The Spirit World

Angels: Angels are created by God. They are holy beings created before the creation of the earth. They are normally invisible but have appeared to people in human form. They are ministering spirits sent by God to serve those who will inherit salvation (Heb 1:6-7; Matt 18:10; Rev 5:11).

Fallen Angels: Satan is the created angel who fell from the presence of God, those are called fallen angels. He is also called the prince of the world, who is the originator of sin, and who introduced sin into the world. His work is to steal, destroy, and to kill, Jesus Christ came into this world to undo his work and set people free from his power. He shall be eternally punished in the lake of fire (Matt 4:1-11; Isa 14:12-17; Gen 3:15, Eph 2:2; Rev 20:10).

Things of the Future

Things of the Future

We believe in the blessed hope, the personal imminent coming of our Lord Jesus Christ to gather all His redeemed ones unto himself. His coming will follow this with His saints to establish His millennial reign on this earth (1 Thes 4:16-17; 1 Cor 15:51-52; Tit 2:13; Rev 20:1-6; Zech 14:4-11; Rev 22:1-6).

The Final Judgment

The Final Judgment

There will be a final judgment in which the wicked will be raised and judged according to their deeds. Every person whose name is not written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be cast into the eternal lake of fire with the devil and his angels. This is called the second death. The saints of the Lord will enjoy everlasting joy with the Lord (Matt 25:46; Rev 21:8; 20:11-15; 1 Cor 15:51-58).
